Awarded a Silver Medal at the IEWA 2025, this Pinot Noir was recognised for its elegance, balance, and varietal expression — a true achievement for English red wine. Light-bodied yet full of character, it offers vibrant notes of cherry and plum layered with sweet spice and the warm, earthy undertones that define the variety.

Soft tannins and a smooth, lingering finish make it a perfect pairing for lamb, duck, or tomato-based dishes.

This is a small-batch, single-varietal Pinot Noir, made from hand-selected Burgundy clone grapes grown on our estate. Fermented in stainless steel with three daily pump-overs during fermentation, then aged for a minimum of ten months in French oak barrels, this wine reflects both precision winemaking and a deep respect for the grape.

FOOD PAIRINGS

This is a lighter, more delicate style of Pinot Noir, with a subtle fruit profile and refreshing acidity. Here are our suggestions.

  • Light Poultry Dishes

-Grilled chicken with herbs like thyme and rosemary. Roast turkey with a citrus or berry glaze. Chicken salads, especially those with light vinaigrette dressings.

  • Seafood

-Grilled salmon or seared tuna—Pinot Noir’s lightness complements these fish without overpowering their delicate flavours. Oysters or prawn cocktails, where the wine’s crisp acidity balances the briny notes.

  • Fresh Salads

-Mixed green salads with fresh herbs, goat cheese, and a tangy vinaigrette. Caprese salad with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Crisp, light salads featuring citrus fruits, nuts, or light vegetables.

  • Light Pasta Dishes

-Pasta with tomato-based sauces like marinara or a simple tomato-basil sauce. Pasta primavera with fresh vegetables and a light olive oil or cream sauce. Mushroom risotto, where the earthy flavours complement the wine's delicate nature.

  • Cheese Pairings

-Soft cheeses like brie, camembert, or goat cheese. Aged cheddar or manchego. Fresh mozzarella with herbs or a drizzle of olive oil.

  • Simple Grilled Meats

-Grilled pork chops or lamb chops with a light, herb-based marinade.
