Our sloe gin has a smooth mouthfeel, a full ruby red colour with a palate of redcurrant, ripe winter fruits with stone-fruit almond. It is drier than most Sloe Gin’s on the market, with the ratios carefully perfected over the years.
Made with handpicked hedgerow sloe berries gathered from around the vineyard and surrounding Suffolk countryside, we made the gin traditionally in small batches. Every vintage has its own character, just like our Giffords Hall wines.
A winter-warm and hip-flask filler, Sloe Gin can be drunk neat or enjoyed as a cocktail ingredient.

Slow Gin Fizz
- 40ml Giffords Hall Sloe Gin
- 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 egg white
- 15ml simple syrup
- Giffords Hall Brut Reserve
Mix sloe gin, lemon juice, egg white, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and dry shake.
Open the shaker, fill with very cold ice, and shake again. Strain into a sherry glass or small highball. Top up with sparkling, or until the height of the froth is roughly equivalent to half of the drink’s volume.
